I thought I'd share some pictures of what the invitations for our picnic looked like. I tried a million different things, almost spent several hundred dollars on invitations on Etsy but ultimately decided to keep it simple and make a collage and get it printed at Officeworks. Looking back on it (having sent them five months ago) they're pretty imperfect and I'd probably do the whole thing differently but I had a lot of fun making them.

Bonjour! My name is Adeline and I usually blog over at Lady Croissant. I've been a Keri Smith lover for years and I was thrilled when Bianca asked me to pick one of her 100 ideas and give it a go.
84. Write a list of all the things you do to escape.
• Take a walk to the nearest coffee shop (Liebling or Tim Wendelboe), get a cortado to go, go window shopping around Grünerløkka or go to an exhibition, stay quiet and get inspired.
• Prepare a teapot of Moroccan mint tea, empty my wardrobe, get rid of everything I haven't worn in a while, reorganize.
• Watch Garden State for the 1005th time and listen to the soundtrack for hours afterwards while crafting.
• Go through all the pretty things I've collected on Tumblr and Pinterest.
• Put on 'Telephone' by Lady Gaga & Beyonce and DANCE!
Thanks for having me. Have a beautiful day!

...from June. Slightly delayed, but better late than never. I had a great month.

The month began with a cup of hot chocolate at Nanna's. Many hot chocolates were drunk in June.

I bought myself three bunches of flowers from my work. Two dollars a bunch, yes please!

I spent many a late night on my computer finishing the dregs of uni work.

I handed in said dregs of uni work.

I cleaned our bedroom (a noteworthy occasion).

I admired the bright coloured doors in my street.

Had tea and cake at C's parents' house. Tea always tastes better there!

I unearthed an old favourite (never worn) dress.

I bought a fun new iPhone case. Big news, I know!

Rode around Launceston taking pictures.

I saw a tiny waving queen.

Dexter was adorable.

The other cats were cute too.

I flew back to my home state.

I had some long train trips.

I re-explored Newcastle a little.

I ate food with people I love.

I pulled faces at this cheeky boy.

I admired varied graffiti.

I visited the Centenary Centre and showed unexpected restraint and didn't buy a thing!

I watched a possum sit at my feet and eat out of a compost bucket.

I was gifted a dozen cupcakes (which I did not finish).

...and I got married. But more on that another time :)
