Lavender

C and I took a drive to Bridestowe Lavender Farm with his parents last week and although the lavender is just ending its season it still looked very beautiful. It is the largest pure lavender farm in the world. Every ten seconds C said "I can smell lavender" and he messily devoured a honey and lavender ice cream. They put lavender in everything at this place - ice cream, cheese, jam, honey, tea, liqueur, tomato sauce. I bought some lavender cheese for my mum.

Happy New Year

I wanted to find a really nice, happy, good-vibey image for my first post of 2011, but I couldn't find anything that really did the trick. The above photo is by Corey Arnold and made me laugh out loud when I first saw it. The more I think about it, the more it makes me laugh. I think it is ridiculous and amazing. I hope 2011 is ridiculous and amazing. Happy New Year :D
