The Knit Lab exhibition opening night was last night and was big fun. The little collage I made was on one of the walls with other knitting & science themed collages made by other lovely Launceston artists. The space looks wonderful and I am looking forward to seeing the pieces evolve over the course of the exhibition as visitors interact with the artworks (making hand knitted poos, pom pom vomit, etc). I will no doubt post more photos of the stuff in the exhibition 'cos - it's all so pretty!

Today is my blog's second birthday. I started it in July 2009 because I am generally a bad diarist and I wanted some record of things that went on in my life, so I could recall them later. I'm trying to grow my hair really long. Just about every day I think about cutting it really short though. It is a struggle to commit to one or the other. C's hair is about three times as long as mine is and I am quite jealous. This dress makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland, big and ruffly and like an oversized children's dress.
