Be My Guest | Donna of Deer Donna

Hello friends of Goodnight Little Spoon!

My name is Donna from Deer Donna and I live near the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria with my fiancee Christian and our kitty Sailor Jerry. I am so excited to be guest posting here on B's beautiful blog while she is off doing exciting love things (!!!) as Goodnight Little Spoon is my most loved blog in all of blog land. B asked me to think about attempting an idea from Keri Smith's 100 Ideas and after having a quick look through the ideas, one stood out to me!

42. Create a character based on someone you know. Write a list of personality traits.

So, without further ado... I present you a character my fiancee and I created in the form of a superhero, based on my beautiful sister Belle.

The Vegan Avenger!

The Vegan Avenger is a swift and spunky space girl who travels around the galaxy zapping evil villains who are mean to animals.

Her ray gun shoots out cyber carrots, which have special powers to turn the most nasty animal haters into animal loving vegans.

She wears a crown with a golden V and a beautiful red cape which helps her fly through space.

The Vegan Avenger also has another secret... Her ray gun doubles as an electric mixer, so she can whip up the tastiest vegan treats for her friends and family.

By day, The Vegan Avenger is known as a small girl named Belle, who works a busy office job.... But by night.... She roams the galaxy as the one and only.............

VEGAN AVENGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

*cue nerdy space girl music*

Thanks B for letting me crash Goodnight Little Spoon for a few minutes... I hope my nutty space girl doesn't scare off any readers! Haha.

Love Deer Donna xox

Be My Guest | Carla of Tiny Angry Crafter

Hello everyone! I’m Carla, I blog over at Tiny.Angry.Crafter, and today I’ll be showing off my artistic ‘skills’ while Miss Bianca is getting hitched!

I’ve been a fan of Bianca’s for a while, and when she asked for guest bloggers, I literally squealed with delight and did a happy little dance. From the Keri’s 100 ideas list she gave, I chose:

10. Draw your bike

My little pink bike (named ‘The Kraken’ by my good friend) is a simple Schwinn Cruiser.  I’m starting to gain confidence with riding my bike around as a mode of transportation, after reading about Bianca’s bicycling adventures. Thankfully, I’ve got a dad who loves bikes, so I’ll tag along during one of his rides. Hopefully, I’ll knit up some cute things for The Kraken this summer.
Do any of you have bikes? If so, what do they look like?

Thank you Bianca! & congrats to you and C!!
