The photos above were taken by C on our odd little journey today to help a friend of his pick up her second car. Although I have had my full license for some time, I hadn't driven a car in over a year and it had been at least two years since I'd driven a manual. I wish I'd taken a photo of the car I got to drive for the two hours home, because it was a delicious metallic pastel pink and beautiful to drive. I am aware that driving a car is certainly not anything noteworthy, but C photographed this landmark occasion for me. I didn't expect to, but it made me really miss driving. As a gift for driving her car home for her, the car's owner is letting me take it for a trip or two. I had a bit of a bizarre day, but quite wonderfully, it ended with us finding a home for the beautiful stray cat that lives on our street. C's friend, upon seeing the sweet cat, said, "What's your middle name?", and so the cat became Robin and now has a new home. I am so glad. I shall have to give a better view of the magical mustard coat I'm wearing in the photos sometime. I cannot take the thing off at the moment.

+ 'Robin' a few months ago being stared down by my cat Rigby.
Also, I should probably give credit where credit is due and tell you that about 65% of the photos on this blog are taken by C (then edited by me). Because they are taken with my camera I tend to assume them as my own and forget to credit him.
