+ sometimes people leave rubbish in my basket while it is parked outside my workplace. one night i found a 3-pack of brand new men's extra large animal print underwear. i wish i'd kept them, but i felt too awkward and left them outside my work.

Watching; Downton Abbey, Vampire Diaries, Breaking Bad (um, varied?!), Submarine, The Help, How To Marry A Millionaire & Heathers (so very!).
Buying; Presents for my little sister's eighteenth birthday, opshop goodies & fancy 75% off shampoos.
Listening to; Not as much as I'd like - but I have the new Feist album and Owl Eyes EP waiting for me to press play.
Loving; My new house, the colour peach & the thought of trying out my new swimmers sometime soon.
Consuming; Caramello Koalas & Vegemite scrolls.

I bought this dress on my latest trip back to Newcastle - it's not a colour I'd usually wear but I am obsessed with the pattern and collar. It's very short and thus tights were necessary. I went to visit my friend Sara at her work yesterday and she pointed me to the 'Are You Wearing Pants?' chart on her office wall. No, I was not wearing pants - but this was a very rare occasion - I promise, I usually wear pants.

Lovely miss Small Catalogue posted about her dream hypothetical super groups today and I thought I'd share (one of) mine too. C says a real 'supergroup' would have musicians as well as singers, but whatever. I have a bit of an evolving 'Ultimate Dead Celebrity Supergroup' list that I'll have to share at another date (hint: it would be led by Jeff Buckley and Nina Simone).

I haven't worn this dress in years because I thought it was too short. I've been reorganising my clothes lately and thought I'd try it on with stockings (they're like my security blanket). I love how over the top the sleeves, collar and lacing are. I'd like to try to imitate the pattern and make a few similar dresses in different colours and prints. I also love the fact that this house, and my last house both have 'steps to nowhere' in the backyard (yes I should weed my garden too).
